You must be wondering what are list of search options you can use to search the Waves. Here I will explain different search terms for the wave which you can use to search various waves.
There are a number of different search terms you can use to conduct more specific searches. To do so, just enter the search operator in the search box at the top of your account.

Searching on participants
creator:name | Finds all waves created by name. |
participant:name | Finds all waves where name is a direct participant (name may be a user or a group). |
contributor:name | Finds all waves where name edited at least one message. |
to:name | Finds all waves where name is a participant, but not the creator. |
onlyto:name | Finds all waves where name is the only participant, beside the creator. |
onlyby:name | Finds all waves where name is the only contributor. |
onlywith:name | Finds all waves where name is the only participant (name is either your own, or a group you belong to). |
dfrom:name | Finds all waves with a direct message from nameor waves with only two participants, where nameis a contributor. |
dto:name | Finds all direct messages to name, or waves with only two participants, where the other participant is also a contributor. |
from:name | Finds all waves in which name created at least one message within a wave. |
to:name | Finds all waves in which name is a participant but not the owner. |
with:name | Finds all waves in which name is a direct participant. |
by:name | Finds all waves in which name is a contributor. |
onlyto:name | Finds all waves in which name is the only participant besides the owner. |
onlywith:name | Finds all waves in which name is the owner and only participant on a message within a wave. |
is:note | Finds all waves in which you are the only participant. |
Note: The keyword me can be used with all of the above operators to search for yourself.
Searching by date
past:date term | Finds all waves within date term. |
previous:date term | Finds all waves from the previous date term. |
before:date term | Finds all waves from before date term. |
after:date term | Finds all waves from after date term. |
Note: Accepted date terms are day, week, month, or year. You can abbreviate days, weeks, months, and years to a single letter -- d, w, m, and y, respectively. You can also add N before any of the date operators to specify the number of days, weeks, months, or years over which you'd like to search. N must be greater than zero. For example, searching with past:3days will find waves from today, yesterday, and the day before yesterday.
Searching by keyword
about:keyword | Finds all waves containing keyword anywhere in the content. |
title:keyword | Finds all waves containing keyword in the title. |
caption:keyword | Finds all waves containing an attachment where keyword occurs in the caption. |

Searching on the state of a wave
is:read | Finds all waves where all messages within the wave (including all private replies) have been read. |
is:unread | Finds all waves with at least one message that has not been read. |
is:filed | Searches over waves that have been filed into one of your folders. |
is:unfiled | Searches over waves that have not been filed (and are either still in:inbox or only in:all). |
is:followed | Searches over all waves that you follow. |
is:unfollowed | Searches over all waves that have been unfollowed. |
Searching for waves with attachments
has:attachment | Finds all messages with an attachment. |
has:document | Finds all messages with a document attached. |
has:image | Finds all messages with an image attached. |
caption:term | Finds all messages containing a picture, whose caption is the term on which you are searching. |
filename:keyword | Finds all waves with an attachment containing keyword in the filename. |
mimetype:keyword | Finds all waves with an attachment with mimetype containing keyword in the filename. |
Searching by folder
in:folder name | Finds all waves in folder name. |
in:search name | Finds all waves in your saved search: search name. |
is:unfiled | Finds all waves you haven't moved to a file you created. |
